  • Tégō Shelters is proudly Canadian. Although we call Toronto and Vancouver our backyard, we service all of Canada and the United States.

  • Being born in 2021 during The Pandemic, not only are we young and resilient, but we’ve imbued Tégō Shelters with modern business practices. In other words, we’re efficient, professional and approachable.

  • We believe in timeless design, uncompromised function and durability. We don’t sell crap.

Now that you’ve matched an umbrella product for an application or idea, contact us, and a member of our team will follow up to start the collaboration process.

3. Collaborate

With your vision in mind, we will work with you or your design team to propose a solution (or three), as well as the pricing and details.

Installation

If your goal is to show up one day to see your space transformed, we’ve got you covered - say hello to the “Easy Button”. Simply let us know you would like your umbrella products installed, and we take care of the rest. Some details:

  • Communication & payment: With the goal of streamlining the process, all communication and payment is done through Tégō Shelters. That means you have ONE contact throughout the entire process, and payment is already taken care of when the installers arrive.

  • Scheduling the installation: Once we know precisely when your product will arrive, we work with you to establish a date and time, then our installers show up with the product, ready to install.

  • Affiliated installers: Tégō Shelters only works with heavily vetted affiliated installers who are professional, knowledgeable and fully insured. We know our installers and trust them to work on our own homes.

  • Installation fees: Shadowspec products are $500 for the first umbrella and $250 for each additional umbrella (HST is applied). This rate is subject to change based on project specifics.

  • Where installation is offered: Currently, installation is only offered in the Greater Toronto Area and Greater Vancouver area. With that said, we’re always growing our reach, so give us a call regardless of where you are in Canada.

Design

We understand the need to visualize what your space will look like with a new addition. Whether it’s a quick mock-up or a full scale design endeavor, we’ll make sure you are set up for success. Here’s how we make that happen:

  1. Start by reaching out to us with an idea of what you have in mind. Photos, CAD files, drawings and/or measurements are all very helpful.

  2. Once we have a better understanding of the scope of the project we can then offer:

    • A free virtual consultation. Ideally, we will set up a video call where you can give our team a quick tour of the space. After our consultation, we will follow up with a quick but effective digital rendering of the vision. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words, and this very important step ensures everyone is on the same page before moving on to next steps.

      OR

    • If the scope of the project necessitates, we will make a formal introduction to our interior (exterior) design partners who understand our products and are equally driven by an excellent user experience.

  • We service all of Canada and the United States.

  • Yes. In fact most of our clients are businesses such as; Hotels, Restaurants, Golf & Country Clubs, Spas and Exhibition/Sporting Venues.

  • Yes. There’s no need to play negotiation games here. We understand when you make a large volume purchase that you expect a better price per unit.

  • Absolutely we can! With that said, due to the nature of our products, they are shipped on larger trucks and arrival times are approximate (during business hours) and may require assistance for unloading. If this is no problem for you - great! Otherwise, we will work with you to come up with a solution well before any finances are committed from your end. If you are in the Greater Toronto Area or the Greater Vancouver Area, delivery is included with our Installation Services.

  • For Shadowspec products we have decided to bake in the price of shipping into the product. Some other dealers call this “free shipping”, but we are fully transparent in saying that we have found it to be much cleaner for our users and our business to include the fee in the price of our products.

  • We are firm believers in under-promise and over-deliver. Shipping wait times on most Shadowspec products is currently 10-14 days for Eastern Canada (Ontario and East) and 14-21 days for Western Canada (BC to Manitoba).

  • Dealing with exclusively premium products, this is a very rare occurrence. If this is the case, simply contact our team and we will work directly with the manufacturers to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

  • Reach out to our team and we will diagnose the issue as a warranty issue or otherwise. Regardless of the outcome, we will ensure you are back to enjoying your product as soon as possible.

  • You betcha! Currently Installation Services are only offered in the Greater Toronto Area and Greater Vancouver Area. If you are outside of these areas please contact us and we will do our best to set you up for success.

  • Of course! We understand you may want to tackle this on your own or have a preferred contractor. Not only do we have instruction manuals, but we also have access to excellent videos. Reach out to us and we’ll get you what you need.
